Introduction: turpentine distilling technology , enhance quality and performance recovery

Distillation Technology is one of three main technological process of processing resin. Distillation process has a decisive role not only improves the quality but also improve retrieval performance through products and rosin oil.
 
From the experimental results, the Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Post Harvest Technology (CDNN & CNSTH Institute) has perfected the process of distillation of resin technology applications in production conditions on synchronous lines rosin and oil production data, production scale of 5,000 tons / year at JSC informed Quang Phu - Quang Tri, contributing to improving the quality and production efficiency.

In particular, NT1 devices by pump (10) cyclic cooling water in cooling towers (9) and NT2 devices by pump cold water (11) circulating through the cold water tank (8) is cooled by a combination of machines Cold Water Chiller type (7). Cooling tower is designed for simultaneous cooling equipment NT1 and condensers of air conditioning Chiller combination. With this design, the process of condensing water vapor mixture of oil and water through a cooling 2 different temperatures, including cold water circulating through NT2 devices can be controlled with appropriate temperature during distillation.
 
Two types of vacuum within the country (6) (in which 1 vacuum reserve) and vacuum vessel (5), to create a low-pressure distillation equipment to increase the driving force for evaporation . The main task of the vacuum is not stopped in the air intake system, if the device NT1 and NT2 devices do not perform well, then the amount of oil vapor tends to pull the vacuum and rinse out; pollute the environment, reduce the rate of product recalls, on the other hand gets overloaded and damaged the vacuum. To limit the extent of losses in the system and installation of oil vapor condenser 3 (4), to recover the amount of exhaust vapors from the vacuum, before emission into the environment does not stop.
 
The process of separating oil and water dissociation were performed at separations equipment. Product batches rosin is distilled off valve discharge at the bottom of the distillation apparatus and plays pouring directly into the barrel pham.Tong from real production data shows that the distillation temperature of about 1650C temperature range corresponding Cold water cooling from 5 to 7.50 C, distillation time from 105 to 110 minutes is a reasonable mode distilled for quality products with stable quality criteria: water temperature 78.5 software - 79.20 C, acid number 173.5 to 181 mgKOH / g, levels of unsaponifiable matter from 2.9 to 2.92%, water content 0.08 to 0.09% and reached a perceptible color X. After testing the manufacturing process, CDNN & CNSTH Institute has tested and evaluated the quality of products refined rosin and turpentine. The results obtained showed that rosin products have improved the quality and outperformed Vietnam standards, standard export international trade standards (ASTM and ISO 412-1976).
