The project aims to reduce environmental waste through agricultural expansion and development of biogas program, create clean energy, contributing to improving the quality of life of rural people. 

 

Mr. Nguyen Thanh, Director Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Tien Giang province said: The project was carried out from 2019 to present, including the components: Livestock Waste Management; credits for biogas value chain; technology transfer in agricultural production and management of low-carbon projects. 

 

Tien Giang province with Lao Cai, Son La, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Nam Dinh, Ha Tinh, Binh Dinh, Soc Trang, Ben Tre and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Project participants choose "Support low carbon agriculture "with total investment capital of USD 84 million. 

 

According to the Project Management Support for low carbon agriculture Tien Giang province, in 2014, the project provided training to operate the biogas plant, construction supervision and installation of biogas engineering standards technical and quality assurance; livestock waste management safety; construction of demonstration farms and applied research and technology transfer for low carbon livestock farmers. In addition to the above activities, the project was the training extension workers, farmers make key nuclear push, put technology to produce low carbon applications in the province.
