In one hamlet, Phuoc Khanh commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province, Sugar Research Institute recently held a field day workshop introduces two new sugarcane varieties Khonkhean 3 (KK3) and K95-156.

These are two sugarcane varieties imported from Thailand were brought to trial here from 2011 to present. Assay results obtained showed that real yields are both 2 seeds reached 80 tons / ha, sugar content 10.5 CCS, grows well in lowland conditions alum, less disease, stem, low pour self.

Vo Xuan Luy, Extension Station chiefs said Nhon Trach district, the area planted sugarcane varieties in Nhon Trach KK3 about 400 ha, about 110 ha K95-156 same.

If you take good care capacity could reach 120 tons.
