As a re-export market 3rd largest in the world , The United Arab Emirates ( UAE ) is one of the important gateway to Vietnam's entry into the countries of Central Asia , West Asia and Africa Africa .

 

African Market Department , West Asia , South Asia ( Ministry of Trade and Industry ) , citing data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs said 9 months 2013, export turnover of Vietnam to the UAE reached about 3.14 billion , an increase of 112 % compared to the same period in 2012 . Thus, the UAE continues to position the largest export market of Vietnam in West Asia .

 

In terms of the proportion of the total turnover of commodity turnover , the two biggest exports to the UAE in the past 9 months accounting for 90 % of total exports to the UAE , including the phones and their parts ( 2.63 billion, accounting for 84 % of total turnover ) ; computers, electronic products and components ( U.S. $ 152.7 million , up 4.9 % ) . The remaining items account for about 10 % of total turnover .

 

The exports to the UAE market is relatively diverse , rich product categories . Currently, Vietnam exports to the UAE are about 62 commodity groups . In addition to the items mentioned above, there are many items exported to the UAE have low turnover , ranging from several tens of thousands of dollars to several million dollars as tobacco materials , auto parts , DVDs , welding rods , washing machines , vacuum cleaners , refrigerators , beer drinking ...
