( HQ Online ) - According to estimates by the General Department of Customs , in the first 2 months of 2014, total import-export turnover between Vietnam and Japan reached about 4.02 billion U.S. dollars , up 15.1 % yoy in 2013. In particular , Vietnam's exports to reach about $ 2.2 billion , up 22.8 % and imports 1.7 billion , up 6.3 % .
 
In particular , through tracking statistics of General Administration of Customs show that in recent years , Vietnam has maintained a high growth rate of exports to the Japanese market . According to statistics recently published by the General Department of Customs , Import-Export turnover between Vietnam and Japan in 2013 reached U.S. $ 24.3 billion , up 2.4 % compared with 2012. In 2011, Vietnam exported 0.4 billion super , to 2012 this figure was $ 1.5 billion in 2013 and valued at 2.04 billion , up 39% from the figure recorded in 2012 .
 
In recent years , Japan has always been an important commercial market in Vietnam , accounting for up to 10 % by weight of the total imports and exports of our country . In 2013, total two-way trade between Vietnam and Japan ranked No. 4 in nearly 240 countries and territories with which Vietnam has trade activities , in which Japan is ranked No. 2 market for exports and ranked No. 3 in NK .
