China halt to import of cassava pulp from Vietnam

Management Department of Quality of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry (Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development) said, dated 12.12.2014 The Department has received the text No. 1001/XNK-NS dated 10.12.2014 of the Department of Import and Export of the Ministry of Industry and Trade with content: China halt to import cassava pulp from Vietnam as animal feed.
 
 
According to the Vietnam Customs, exports of tapioca starch and cassava products of Vietnam in the first 11 months of 2014 reached nearly 3 million tons with a turnover of more than $ 1 billion, equivalent to the same period last year.
 
In particular, exports to China reached more than 2.55 million tons, turnover of more than 850.6 million and accounted for 84% of total exports products to the market.
