Why we should use coconut oil for cooking


There are many studies showing that coconut oil has a lot of benefits for your health, especially when you use it in your meal. These are some reasons why doctor and health expert recommend everyone to use coconut oil to make your health better.

Firstly, coconut oil supplies Vitamin E and Vitamin K. Vitamin E is key for strong immunity, healthy skin and also give you a good eyesight. Vitamin K supports the maintenance of strong bones, improve bone density and decreases the risk of fractures not only for the young but also for the old.

Secondly, you should know that cooking oil has a smoking point, and if you cook it beyond that temperature or else it will start forming compounds that may be harmful for your health. The smoking point of coconut oil is higher than olive oil at 350°F while this point of olive is 280°F.

Last but not least, coconut oil can treat many diseases such as kidney stones, lower cholesterol, reduce inflammation, boost immune function, promote weight loss, protect against certain cancers, improve memory in older adults and a whole lot more.
