According to authorities in Bac Giang province, early lychee yield of the whole province is about 27,000 tons.

 

Currently, lychee growers have sold 13,000 tons at an average price from 13,000 to 14,000 VND / kg, the delicious kind  from 18000 to 25000 VND/ kg, higher compared to 2012.

 

The total area of ​​lychee in Bac Giang province in 2013 is about 32.000 ha (reduced 1000 ha compared to 2012), total production is estimated at 140,000 tonnes of fresh lychees , while those of Luc Ngan district was estimated at 70,000 tons, Luc Nam - 36,000 tons, Yen The  District - 15,000 tons, Tan Yen-  8,000 tons.

Yeild of the main harvest  is approximately 113,000 tons (harvest time 15/6 - 20/7).

 

Lychee area grew up to VietGAP standard is about 7.500 ha,  giving yield about 35,000 tons.
