Jackfruit is mainly cultivated in tropical or close to tropical climates. In common with other tropical fruits such as durian, banana,..., it is also rich in energy, dietary fiber, minerals, and vitamins and free from saturated fats or cholesterol.
It is considered the largest tree-borne fruit in the world with an average weight of 3.5kg to 10 kg and can reach up to 25kg. Jackfruit is sweet in taste and has a distinguishable and nice smell.
