Except for the Chinese market, and Japan, the export of cassava and cassava products of Vietnam in the major markets have increased significantly, specifically Korean market increased by 43.4% and 45.2% in value; Philippines up 97.9% in volume and 51.2% in value; Taiwan up 26.7% in volume and 37.6% in value; Malaysia increased by 7.7% in volume and 18.5% in value compared to the same period last year.

Since the beginning of the year to the end of the month 5/2013, the total sown area of crops across the country reached 1,095 thousand hectares, an increase of 10.5%, which was an area of ​​288 thousand hectares of cassava, up 7.5% over the same period last year.
